Conservatives go wild because she looks good in a dress, but it became evident that this country was in deep trouble if somehow Palin were a heartbeat from the presidency. McCain had to do all he could to shut that fluff down to keep from embarrassing him, the Republican party, and herself. Too late. Damage done.

Now this fluff is screaming for attention and slamming McCain in her book. McCain used to be known for his temper. Now he just accepts the abuse and praises Palin. What the hell happened to the "maverick"? Was this yet another attempt by Republicans to lie their way into the WH, putting forth a candidate that was not what he claimed to be? The candidate that Republicans put forth in this last election is a simpleton, not a maverick. The one before that was a village idiot. When is your party going to develop some SUBSTANCE in not only your candidates, but your IDEOLOGY? Palin far from this ideal.
Dear Mr. Gibbs, don't you have anything better to do than to post on internet forums?

Some of us skipped the entire "ditch handicapped spouse to marry money" stage in our life, unlike, say, McCain. He may have (had) many sterling qualities, but his wealth is not indicative of anything but marrying well.

don't you think it is a little ironic to talk about IDEOLOGY when obama is now planning on escalating war action? i guess ideology goes out the window when your candidate wins the election.
