President Obama is days away from announcing a new Afghan strategy, but his immediate battle could come from liberals within his own party who are vowing to "spank" the president for committing tens of thousands of more troops to the eight-year conflict.

As for President Obama sending more troops to Afghanistan this was well known even during his campaign when he said we were fighting a bogus war in IRAQ and should be focused on Afghanistan.

Those who are anti-war will speak out, those who are for 'get out of iraq' might, and those who are wanting him, to finish what the previous administration didn't (get bin-laden), are in support of. All liberals are not all alike. Nor do we try to be.
