Unfortunately, lefties are always johnny-on-the-spot to deflect criticism to
Christians/Bush/Cheney/Rove/conservatives/Republicans.......who did I leave out?

Thank you for pointing out the silliness of the thread's title.

That's because they have no clue what it is like to live in an Islamic state where you can't dance or play music, and if you're a woman, you have to worry about tempting a guy who might rape you if your veil falls off (in which case, usually the woman is punished.)

Honor killings where women are drowned and murdered or maimed for the crime of dating a non-Muslim.

A frog inside a well has no perspective. Folks, go travel and live abroad and see for yourself if you don't believe it!

GENEVA — Four years after cartoons of the prophet Muhammad set off violent protests across the Muslim world, Islamic nations are mounting a campaign for an international treaty to protect religious symbols and beliefs from mockery — essentially a ban on blasphemy that would put them on a collision course with free speech laws in the West.
Documents obtained by The Associated Press show that Algeria and Pakistan have taken the lead in lobbying to eventually bring the proposal to a vote in the U.N. General Assembly

Freedom of Speech anyone??

You think christians are happy when Jesus gets shafted all the time? No! But nobody's asking for a ban on free speech either!
The religion of pieces.....er....peace...strikes again..

They are really trying to creep in Sharia Law into the west..
Why are you freaking out?

Algeria and Pakistan can propose all they want to the UN. Ever heard of the security council and their veto power? Besides, have you checked lately how much attention countries pay to the UN?

Please. Read Sharia Law. Then attend a soccer match in ANY European country. Then, read European history. Pay attention now.

The millisecond those pesky Muslims try to tell the Europeans that they cannot drink beer or vino, the citizens of the European Union will gleefully and literally kick every Muslim a$$ they see all the way down to Morocco. The Europeans have "references": the Spanish Inquisition killed a lot of Muslims, and the Nazis killed millions on account of religion. Do not underestimate the Europeans.

Why are you getting all stressed out? Never mind. I just realized you got the article from Fox News. Continue to stress out.
