Why is it that those that are the most opposed to a public healthcare option, choose to utilize the public education option?

I personally support educational vouchers

I prefer giving parents a choice as to how THEIR kids should be educated.

not that we CHOOSE to use public education,,,but when we are TAXED TO DEATH, and the local school tax is just as much as the private school I'd want my kids to go to, that because of the tax to the 'puplic' institution, I cant send them, then we have NO CHOICE

there is however a strong argument for doing something for 19% of people living and working here legally or not w/o medical coverage.
it could be on the cheap or even the worst HMO known to man, but medical will soon be bust we must act soon.

Most can not afford to send their kids to private school. It is not that they like public school, it is they don't have a choice. Two very different things.

You still have a choice. Yuo can choose to vote out your local leaders that impose such a "school tax" or suck it up and pay for private school. That's basically what folks against the public health option say to those less fortunate.
