'We better not see you on again,' the strategist says he was told by a White House official. The White House communications director denies that officials urge such a boycott.
At least one Democratic political strategist has gotten a blunt warning from the White House to never appear on Fox News Channel, an outlet that presidential aides have depicted as not so much a news-gathering operation as a political opponent bent on damaging the Obama administration.
A "un-named" consultant who "appeared" on Fox News.
If he "appeared" wouldn't he be known?
Come on you FoxNews addicts, who was he and what show was he on.............
Sorry, this sounds like a fictional source in a fictional story about a fictional event.
The above is the best post in this thread.

I'm not sure I see the "big difference". As I already said, I got in trouble for speaking up at a city council meeting as an employee of a public agency. I found out it was perfectly legal to reprimand me for doing so.

Supposedly (though I'm doubting it more and more) the person does work for the WH. I'm beginning to think plannie is right that this is fiction.
That has nothing to do with the point I was making. I was addressing the poster's comment that it's "scary" for the administration to ignore Fox News.
Yeah, scary. Because this is only one thing this administration is doing to try to control us, the media and everything else it decides needs controlling. I do not need my life controlled by the President and his administration, who I do not feel have my best interest in mind. Freedom of speech is a freedom, not to be taken away because someone doesn't agree with the president. When you mess with our rights and freedoms, that is taking away what America was founded on. It is what we fight for, what are military gives their lives for. So yeah, I'm scared.
White House Communications Director Anita Dunn said that she had checked with colleagues who "deal with TV issues" and that they had not told people to avoid Fox.
But Patrick Caddell, a Fox News contributor and former pollster for President Carter, said he had spoken to Democratic consultants who said they were told by the White House to avoid appearances on Fox.
Caddell said he had not gotten that message himself from the White House.
Although it's a bit disconcerting to read that news, I also believe that the President and his staff have a right to deny interviews to whomever they wish.
So you advacate against this persons fredom of speech and a threat to this person if he ignored it.Or can't you actually read and comprehend what this claims.
