You don't just "make" a flu vaccinre. It is a living thing that has be be grown in eggs. It takes time to make it and even then the virus can mutate making the effort futile anyway. So that has nothing to do with this. That is like saying "oh we should not treat cancer because the flu vaccine is in short supply".

Thank you for bringing up cancer (again). That's something our 'broken' system does quite well in comparison to government run systems. Their survival rate is very poor. A good alternative for those impatient to go.
But not so good for everyone else.

But, in the past 5 years the ability to distribute the vaccins seems to have broken down altogether. I'm supposedly in a priority group but cant find a swine flu shot anywhere. Now I think I may have had it so it's too late

I'm confused. Are you saying cancer patients survival rate under the current healthcare system is low? Or cancer patients who get "H1N1"

Now you are just pulling words out of your rear end and you just proved you have no idea what you are talking about. The cancer survival rate for many government run health care progams do very well, even better than the US for some types of cancer in France and Japan. Yeah, the cancer survival rate sucks in the UK for whatever reason but they certainly are not the only country with a universal health care program. Even canada, gasp, has very good survival rates:
Cancer Survival Rates Vary by Country
"
The highest survival rates were found in the U.S. for breast and prostate cancer, in Japan for colon and rectal cancers in men, and in France for colon and rectal cancers in women, Coleman's team reports."
"In Canada and Australia, survival was also high for most cancers.
The lowest cancer survival rates for all four cancers were found in Algeria."
