It is unrealistic to expect that a voter registration canvasser will actually register people to vote in exchange for being paid an hourly wage to do so??? That's sort of an odd take on things. Is it unrealistic as well to expect a plumber to fix some pipes or an electrician to do some wiring? ACORN has been running voter registration drives for many years. They know what's realistic and what isn't, and one of the things that isn't is to continue paying people that are not able or willing to perform the job.

First, ACORN has evaded taxes, obstructed justice, engaged in self dealing, and aided and abetted a cover-up of embezzlement by Dale Rathke, the brother of ACORN founder Wade Rathke.

Second, ACORN has committed investment fraud, deprived the public of its right to honest services, and engaged in a racketeering enterprise affecting interstate commerce.

Third, ACORN has committed a conspiracy to defraud the United States by using taxpayer funds for partisan political activities.

Fourth, ACORN has submitted false filings to the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and the Department of Labor, in addition to violating the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).

Fifth, ACORN falsified and concealed facts concerning an illegal transaction between related parties in violation of the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 (ERISA).

ACORN is funded by member dues and donations, and by charitable contributions from various unions, from Working Assets (the phone company), from the Bauman Family Foundation, the Charles Stewart Mott Foundation, Open Society, the Ford Foundation, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, and the charitable foundations of such corporations as JP Morgan Chase, Bank of America, Citigroup, UPS, and Hyatt. There are many more, but perhaps you get the drift...

Fell for what? You've proven next to nothing. You went to a site who's SOUL PURPOSE is to be anti-ACORN and ripped what they wrote off it...

If anything I didn't "fall for it".
