What are you surprised/ The same can be done for who is behind a goveranmnt plan. I don't like Baucuses plan but it has the only chance that I can see.The house is going to ilkely kill any plan just as it did in Clinton's day by promising evryhting that too many will not vote for in either house of congress. The ral kiler of any unioversal plan is that the people wanting it will not agee to pay for it with very high taxes themselves they want somone else to pay. Even with the Baucus plan prices will be higher for naything made by an comapny paying the bill;so it will be passed on.If pelosi gets her VAT tax thru you will really see prices go thru teh roof on anyhtig other than necessities.
I'm not surprised at all. Most of the political names you read in the press all have connections to some area of healthcare as recepients of contributions from them.
it is amazing that americans are now demanding to pay for mandatory health insurance. i can only assume that a lot of americans are confusing the issue of health insurance with free health care.
Democrat or Republican, black, white, yellow, or red, this should disturb you. And liberals believe that Democrats in Congress have their best interests in mind regarding healthcare reform? Can it get any more obvious?
I wish there was a poster like that for each of the healthcare backers regardless of party.
Orrin Hatch is another one with many deep connections to big pharma.

No we don't.
But we know the conservitives don't have our best interests in mind.

It obvious that the conservatives will do anything to get a bad bill created. Just so they can either say "it's your fault" or "I told you so". (it's not like they are turning away contributions from the industry either)

Who is "they" ? Heck if Baucus was a Repub I'd be putting up that very same image. I don't care what party they are; they have some major backing from the very industry they claim is "hurting" us taxpayers.

They need to each have decals like Nascar of all those who grease their pockets.....

I think the OP just illustrates that the health care providers are buying both Republicans and Democrats. I am sure there are plenty of Republicans as well as Democrats living off of the Health care teat.
