WASHINGTON — The FBI is investigating the hanging death of a U.S. Census worker near a Kentucky cemetery, and a law enforcement official told The Associated Press the word 'fed" was scrawled on the dead man's chest.
Well, between that crazy woman from Minnesota and the crazy far right wing nuts stirring up fear and loathing about the census, how can we be surprised? The census is required BY OUR CONSTITUTION and has been taken every 10 years since the founding of this country. Now, suddenly, it is something that must be feared????? I am an old lady, a retired school teacher, and I do part time census work. I am as unthreatening a person doing nothing except obeying our constitution and trying to earn a little money to supplement my retirement. Do I have to fear for my life now? This poor man. When will the people stirring up hatred going to be held accountable for the deaths they are causing and the destruction of our country that is happening?

The left ,especially Illegal Immigrant supporters have been hostile towards the census for some time to the point they want to boycott it. Evidently they think the census workers are going to rat them out to Border Patrol and ICE. So in summary there is a negative attitude towards it on both sides.

Hmm interesting, i've seen calls from those on the right (eh hem Bachman) screaming AGAINST the census. hmmm I guess my partisan blinder isn't shining a brightly as yours.

Interesting. Remember those GPS readings that the census workers were doing to homes ?
The article said rural area and folks in rural areas are real picky about who comes a knocking on their doors..probably even moreso if someone was scanning their front door.
