Damn right, great big steel cojones, and Cheney had a matching pair, and they just scared the hell out of you liberal weenies. So now you folks have a wannabe in office, and I hope to God he knows how to strap on a pair if it ever hits the fan.
Cheney had big enough backbone to get him how many deferments from the military? Oh yeah...it was four. Chicken hawk coward. A war mongerer that sent young American soldiers to their death to enrich himself and his fellow Neocon cronies. And you admire this piece of lying crap?

Problem here is, if they go with liberal dems and receive funding from the DNC, they lose their support in the district. They weren't elected to be liberal democrats. In the case of my state our blue dog was elected cuz the Repub we had was a one term clown that even Republicans hated. Now we got a dem who might just be more conservative than the only other House member in the state who is a Republican. If Blue Dog Minnick moves one inch to the left he knows he done for in 2010.
Ask yourself dems, is it better to have an additional member to your caucus with the potential of a large majority, or a purist but small caucus? I think this is a mistake Republicans have made, tried to be too purist with out allowing for centrist moderates in the caucus.
You have a point... I certainly don't deny that.
But, they may as well be a Republican in this instance.
I'd be willing to let them weigh their own chances by saying you may lose by not receiving our help next primary or election, or be with us and show the benefits of the plan.
I'm feeling that what difference is it if they have a 'D' next to their name if they're siding with the Rs on this key matter? This is too important an issue to simply mollify their feelings.
You want a President with balls, hell you had one with GWB. You just didn't have enough gray matter upstairs to recognized just how good he was. You better worry more about the people like Pelosi, Frank, Reid, and Franken. If you don't mind wearing a gray suit, no not a 5th avenue type, but more like the suits you would see the people working for the bad guys of the Bond flicks. Standard issue, everyone exactly equal. Then lets have everyone sterilized and then we'll clone the perfect physical specimen... oh, yeah, no women, no men, just machines with a real breath....
If that is what you want, keep pushing for Democrat values.
Bush had backbone? How so?

That's strange since for two years all Obama spoke about was putting in place national healthcare with a public option I might add.
Watch Harry Reid work. He is trying to sneak this HC by another way since he is not getting his way.
People wake up and pay attention.
The majority of Americans do NOT want this HC bill to pass and yet the dems in congress are trying to find ways to sneak it in and go against your wishes.
Talk about balls, this democratic controlled congress is telling us that they do not care about what the majority of people think.
The same thing they did to the dems voters when Hillary clearly had more votes and yet chose Obama over her.
Guess the dems do not think your voice counts anymore.

Who are these majorities of whom you speak?
US: Health Care (Kaiser 8/4-11)
Do you favor or oppose creating a government-administered public health insurance option similar to Medicare to compete with private health insurance plans?
59% Favor
38% Oppose
Think about the health care reform legislation currently being considered in Congress and suppose that the public option is dropped from the plan. Would you strongly support, somewhat support, somewhat oppose, or strongly oppose the Congressional health care reform bill without a public option?
34% Support, 57% Oppose
