Throughout his career, Biden has often been accused of boasting about his accomplishments, embellishing his credentials and even stealing the words of others. He dropped out of the 1988 presidential race after being accused of plagiarizing British Labor Party leader Neil Kinnock.
He could have just said it as a weak joke and it would have gotten a few chuckles. But to make up something like that in his position is just foolish. The guy needs a teleprompter of his own.
I'm not really sure why, but we have had anumber of pretty bad VPs, or at least they are generally disrespected. Let's review the last four:
Biden: serial exaggerator, I think he will end up being a drag on Obama
Cheney: Extremely divisive
Gore: Exaggerator. I think he wanted to be cool, but did not have the ability
Quayle: Considered a joke by many and a drag on the ticket

Karl ROVE, I wouldn't believe a word out of that guy's mouth....
Except, he would have been there in the Oval Office, as well as other aids who have come out and said the same of Biden - he's a liar.
