Get your facts straight, and I'll give the thread a look later.
Guess you didn't see the link the House document did you? Selective reasoning is a main tenet of liberal rationale.

More like imagine between the lines, because that does not give 2 billion to ACORN.

I also can't find anywhere online stating that we are giving Italy $50k. Anyone got a link?

The 2 billion referenced on page 87 refers to monies going directly to Section 8 landlords, which has absolutely nothing to do with ACORN.

Sure I did, but apparently the OP didn't. What I did see are three contradictory claims. Are you saying that your claim is correct?

Okie-dokie. I'll mention that to the next liberal I meet. Don't know many, if any right now, but I'll keep a look out for ya.

Paranoid much?

"The conference agreement provides $3,000,000,000, of which $1,000,000,000 is
appropriated for the Community Development Block Grant program and $2,000,000,000
is available for the Neighborhood Stabilization Program. This funding is provided
instead of the $5,190,000,000 proposed by the House. Funding was not provided in the
Senate. The Neighborhood Stabilization Program funding will assist states, local
governments, and nonprofits in the purchase and rehabilitation of foreclosed, vacant
properties in order to create more affordable housing and reduce neighborhood blight."

It has nothing to do with ACORN.

Neighborhood Stabilization Program Grants - Community Development - CPD - HUD

Statement from ACORN:

"We have not received neighborhood stabilization funds, have no plans to apply for such funds, and didn't weigh in on the pending rule changes. "
