Where were they when the people that created this mess were in office? A little too late the damage is done.

I love that these douchenozzles waited until Bush was out of office to hold their rally, as if Obama is actually to blame for the crap they're complaining about.

Where were they when their Republican schmo was digging this country into the ground? I guess they were waiting for a Dem to get elected, so they could blame it all on him/her.

4000 bitter people? What the hell type of excuse for a protest is that? You can get 4000 losers just about any where. Hell, you can get 20,000 people just be promising free soup. This is nothing especially given how hard the right wing nuts have been pumping this on their hack radio shows and ranting blogs.

This protest is all well and good. The real challenge will be to find enough political candidates with enough backbone to resist the federal government takeover of all America's business and industry. I don't see that happening.

Wow, so much ignorace from the previous posters. Their protest wasn't about the current economy. It was about government bailouts wasting billions of taxpayer money the government doesn't have.

sailordave I live in Orlando and rest assured 4000 people were probably bored with Disney or mallls that day. Watchout for angry Floridians! Look who we voted for in the last Presidential election!

I use to be stationed in Orlando when the Navy had it's bootcamp and Nuclear Power school there. I went to both. The locals I knew didn't bother with Disney or Universal unless they worked there and left it to the tourist. Some of those people probably included former Navy sailors who decided to retire to Orlando. I do remember a small anti-war protest outside our base's gates when ships were first being sent to Iraq in 1990.

by the way, is that big doorknob looking water tower from the base still standing? I hated that tower. Our company commander said it was the doorknob to hell.
