It sure makes me happy! When will the public as a whole wake up and see what these politicians are doing and saying? When will we hold them accountable for all the promises they don't keep?
It will never happen. I believe we are too far gone and moving fast.The goons in office are like kids in a candy store. They will legalize all the illegals and hand them whatever then need so they will be guaranteed their vote.
Don't be surprised if they change the 2 term limit. Well that is if the country isn't destroyed by then.
Exactly! Pelosi and the rest of government need to enforce laws! These illegal immigrants are taking jobs that american citizens could use in these tough times. What is she thinking?
She is thinking " we need hispanic voters"
What she isnt thinking about is the Hispanics that doesnt support illegal Hispanics being here. Many Hispanics feel they came here legally and so should the rest.
She took an oath to uphold the law of the United States of America. She has blatantly stated that she does not believe those laws should be followed. That is treason, plain and simple.

Here is an issue whereas I strongly disagree with Pelosi and her party.
Immigation legal and otherwise is an issue with national ramifications beyond what quickly meets the eye. The countries that effectively deal with it will also gain the many benefits.
I agree with those that say non-enforcement of our laws is what is unamerican. Politisizing the issue is negative--solutions must go forward in a cooperative non partisan manner.
If our Gov't. can conjure and pressure other countries for other matters why has there been such little emphasis on the conditions in the countries of the illegals origin? The rights abusing, corrupt, cluster ruled mess south of our border is a prime example. These countries need to assume some responsibility for the fleeing.
"House Speaker Nancy Pelosi recently told a group of both legal and illegal immigrants and their families that enforcement of existing immigration laws, as currently practiced, is "un-American."
Something we agree on...though I suspect for different reasons.
"...as currently practiced" means the pi**-poor job our government has done of securing our borders and keeping criminals out. And that once they are here, we do a very poor job of tracking them down and deporting illegals.
