This guy is suppose to fix our collapsing economy and he can't even hire/find his staff? Maybe he should just go to a local temp agency, just tell them he will only need them for 4 years at most.

Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner is trying to stabilize the nation's banking industry, implement a housing rescue plan and prop up a plunging stock market – all with about 18 vacant senior positions, virtually the entire upper echelon of his department.

The staff is so faceless that lobbyists have begun trading jokes about a "ghost" bureaucracy, given the many empty picture frames hanging on the department's walls.

It's unfortuante these days that a President can only pick from a handful of politicians, and life-long government employees, for the job. Seems too many of them have dirty hands, special interests, and are too good to pay income tax.

Maybe it's time to look in the private sector for help. And no, not Twitter.

"The house is on fire and you’ve got one guy with the hose"

...more like one guy with a leaky bucket.

Obama doesn't believe in the private sector. Why would he pick from that when he's trying to eliminate it?
