Brutal February for Blue Chips - WSJ.com

Quote:
The Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped 119.15 points, or 1.7%, to end at 7062.93. The blue-chip benchmark ended down 937.93 points, or 11.72% on the month -- the worst percentage drop for February since 1933, when it fell 15.62%
I'm sure obama and the dems are pleased as punch. Massive tax hikes, massive spending, job-killing energy policy, socializing health care, capitulating to our enemies.

When he said change, he really meant it.

You just know the liberal MSM will not be highlighting this little tidbit. If this had happened at bushs1+ month, there would be breaking news headlines splashed across the pages of the NYT and WaPo.

The tax hikes are hardly "massive," unless you call 3% "massive."

The energy policy will kill 1 job to every 2 jobs it creates.

We need universal health care. People working for $6.00/hour can't afford to pay over $1000/month for health care insurance.

Nobody's "capitulating" to anybody. What are you, 12 years old?

Get your story straight. Last week you posted an article showing Sept. 2008 the fall was more than 17%.

You best go read the policy. There are dozens of tax increases and it's not 3% it's 6.6% please put the Kool-Aid down.

You do understand that Obama didnt create this mess.

The headlines you'd like to see - blaming Obama for the crisis or insinuating that everything was perfect until he came along - you'll only find on Fox and so forth.

You know, I thought nothing could be as hilarious as the McCain supporters were leading up to November 4th. They were torn between smearing Obama with insanely false claims and insisting that McCain had a chance. The OP was very much into making absurd claims about the polls. I thought I'd never seen such complete and utter foolishness.

Those were the good ole' days, apparently.

But I guess the conservatives are looking at losing two devastating elections in a row, and being represented by the "Party of George Bush," and their future lying in the hands of people like Jindal, Palin, and Joe the Plumber.

So, we'd better let them have their silly little posts making nonsensical claims. It's all they've got to go on.

Snap out of it, every time the man opens his mouth the DOW tanks 200 points or more. I mean it's only down 1200 points in a month ... surely that's not "The One's" fault. It's his economy now and he can't blame bush forever, but I'll tell you he's milking for all it's worth.
