My assessment of the cartoon is based on the fact that Obama didn't write the bill. To see it as against Obama misses the facts of the situation or puts them aside in an attempt to find racism.
Obama's comment about Palin was a poor choice of words in my opinion, but I don't think it makes him sexist.
I didn't think Obama was being sexist when he said "you can put lipstick on a pig." It had nothing to do with sex. The term can apply to anyone or anything.

I said, if you don't think that it was, did you say, back in Sept. that Obama "is a sexist pig for calling Palin a pig"?
Obama never called Palin a pig...he was using an expression that is often used and the far right media started the nonsense propaganda. Unlike Palin, Obama never resorted to insults during his campaign. In fact, the things that Palin accused Obama of during her and McCain's ridiculous campaign, were piggish on her part!
