So conservatives say less regulation leave business alone. So they vote their hero in (Bush) and he decides to cut the enforcement of the food industry. Now we have a peanut factory that know they have Salmonella problem and hide it. Of course there is no or at least little regulation so they peddle their product all over the US. People have died, people are sick, millions of dollars of product made from peanuts lost.
Now you have to understand that the bottom line for that company, for the last quarter was up. That's really all that matters right?

Is there any particular reason you are writing in red? Are you trying to get my attention? It actually makes it harder to read. What is this thread about?

Salmonalla, shmalmonella .

I think people could use their tax rebate money to determine on their own whether the food they eat is safe. I mean I could probably get a used microscope with my money. Then before I eat I'll put everything under there and see for myself if anything is swimming around in there. I don't need to stinkin' government intervening on capitalism! That tax money is mine!!!! Put it in MY hands!!!!! That business owner has every right to do business as he sees fit. And if that kills a few people, well we have our guns and we can take care of business ourselves.

And if the microscope thing doesn't work, I can always buy seeds and grow all my own food. See. Who needs government?

I heard on the news today, that factory had not been inspected in years. The FBI raided the place today. Last numbers 600 sick 8 dead, I bet those people wished they had some duct tape.
