I'm listening to it on TV now and in some ways it makes sense. She has done everything not to be in the public eye in the past and as much as I like her, I'm not sure she could handle everything involved with being in the Senate.
Apparently she is citing health concerns for her windbag uncle as a reason. Maybe just a way to save face now that it's apparent her coronation isn't a slam dunk after all. But in any case, two Kennedey's taken out for the price of one!

She just didn't have it, Kennedy or no Kennedy, she even had problems walking and more problems talking. They said she was to be approved tomorrow I think unc was pushing her to. Yes I agree she saved face just in time....
