My result: Left/Liberal

Your PERSONAL issues Score is 80%.
Your ECONOMIC issues Score is 30%.

Works for me. I'm all for personal freedom, but I believe that some government intervention in the marketplace is a good thing. Pure capitalism is bad for society, in my opinion.

My result was Liberal but I didn't really like how the quiz was set up. Overall, I think the results were correct, but it was so short I didn't think I could accurately represent my views (which was the point, I know). Like the options were agree, maybe, or disagree and I get that I can just put maybe for everything but that doesn't apply. That's why I kind of prefer the tests that lets you pick a number between one and five to represent your view because there are tiers of agreeing or disagreeing, you know? But it certainly is a quick, to-the-point political quiz.

I'm Libertarian:

Your PERSONAL issues Score is 100%.
Your ECONOMIC issues Score is 100%.

If you're interested, here's a test that goes into much more detail and compares you to world leaders and other prominent figures:

The Political Compass - Test

My results from the longer test are:

Economic Left/Right: 2.12
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -5.18

Thanks for the link. My results were:

Economic Left/Right: -3.38
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -5.28

I don't really get the scoring system, but my dot on the chart was in the same general area as the Dalai Lama's and Nelson Mandela's dots so I'm cool with that.

I was near the edge between Liberal and Libertarian....what would my Reagan loving mother say!

Personal score: 80%
Economic score: 40%

I agree with Tanglenoodles though, the quiz and the scale were too short, though I've taken similar quizzes and come up with the result (slightly centre left)

Almost dead on center on the second test, just leaning a little bit towards libertarian.
The first test had me as centrist and just a little right and a little libertarian.

90% personal
30% economic

Seems about right. Government should leave individuals more or less alone and heavily regulate corporations to prevent market distortions.

I'm apparently a Libertarian, which doesn't surprise me all that much. I'm registered as an Independent because I believe the GOP and DEM's both have things to figure out.
