My state politicos avoid the scandal of overt corruption, they are just plain inept.

I think all of the state politicians are corrupt. Some of them are just a little more careful who they deal with and avoid getting caught.

Years back many people took "Bo" Pilgrim (Pilgrim's Pride Chicken) to task for being so gauche as to step through the rail to hand checks to legislators. His fellow "owners" had to point out that the correct procedure was to call the legislator over to the rail, and hand him the check IN AN ENVELOPE.

But it sure has worked out well for the Texas economy and budget. South Texas is pretty bad as they don't retire their they get indicted;but then it is pretty close to being part of mexico.

Default Illinois takes the lead

After today, New Jersey should come in second to Illinois.

Sorry, Massachusetts has the most corrupt politicians as they keep electing a murderer to office.

people say he was not convicted of murder there, but everyone knows it is and was his family that got him out of the little murder scene.

if that would have been you (everyone else beside the kennedy's) or I, we would have been in jail for the murder.

It comes down to New Jersey and Illinois. Illinois is close behind New Jersey cause there was a lot of people willing to pay for that senate seat. We have three now four gov in jail. Everyone knows how crazy Chicago is with politics. That was one reason why i did not like Obama is cause like every politician here is corrupt i pray he is not.

Might not be the whole state but the Rio Grand Valley area in TX has a very corrupot government. I wouldn't be suprised if it is the most corrupt area in the country.

Sigh. If Illinois weren't in the news for corruption this week, NJ would've carried this one off easily. Damnit, NJ can't win any polls!!!

If people in Illinois could start getting some polititions from outside of Chicago to represent them they might have a better reputation.
