Hold up here, you don't want to foot the bill for homosexuals? What about the rest of us footing the bill for you heterosexuals? Where's your cogent argument? Please, I'm waiting, I haven't heard it yet.

What if someone said that they don't care for your interracial "marriage" and passed laws prohibiting such practices and you were subjected to harsh discrimination on a daily basis? How would that make you feel? It is not your right to tell gay people how to live their lives. You have no right to deny another law abiding person the right to marry the person they love. The same way they cannot deny you the right to marry a person of another race. And its pretty disgusting that you call them "weirdos" Go blame your God for that one, he is the one who made them. You don't want government involved in your daily habits, you dont' want government taking too much out of your paycheck, you don't want government telling you which God to pray to, BUT you do want government telling other people how to live their sex lives and deny them the same rights as everybody else. HYPOCRITE!

He doesn't care, because being married to another race is now legal. He has conveniently forgotten that back in the day it was illegal, taboo, frowned upon, people would've been killed for it. But what does he care, he doesn't live back in that time, does he?

I was about to ask the same thing.

:: shaking my head ::

There are people who claim to be Christian that are, in my ever so humble opinion, as judgmental and as hypocritical as anyone else.

As for some people claiming the word of the Bible being that of God's, that book was written by man. And man is not God.

For that one person saying "God hates gays" .. well maybe your God does, but mine loves everyone, even you.

Gay marriage destroying the sanctity of families and straight marriages? I didn't realize that the statistics out there indicating over 50% in divorces and more children than not coming from broken homes was a lie. Are gay people to blame for all that too?

Geez ... people are people. If a relationship between two consenting adults is based on love and commitment, seems to me that whomever one's Higher Power is would be more pleased instead of encouraging more hatred.

Just sayin' ...

Kafur, I said I dont think we should be adding 10% of the poulation to access SS benefits and other entitlements by marrying same sex partners. These programs in policies were put in place to protect families not everyone with a different lifestyle

Homos can do whatever they like except take benefits away from mothers and children who need them

LOL, dont try the red herring of an old immigration law that has nothing to do with the discussion at hand

You're conveniently forgetting that gay people have families as well, you know, just like heterosexuals....you know, whether there are children involved or not. You know, two people in a happy, committed relationship, working things out, having arguments as well, doing thanksgiving dinner, superbowl sunday, christmas w/the family, gift giving, etc. etc.
