Don't know if anyone has been following this story, but the corruption is incredible. It's bad enough that landlords were at one point prohibited from charging what they wanted for their property. It's even worse when a politician uses his connections to take advantage of such a law.

Rent stabilization is a corrupt, politically-embedded system which is (mis)used by a minority of the population at the expense of the taxpayers of NY State and the majority of the tenants.

I hope they throw old Charlie so deep in prison they have to pipe in sunlight.,
he is just another example of the leadership the democratic party.....

Yeah, those condo rules are for common tenants, not for Charlie. I'd like to see him adjust to the common rules of a federal prison.

the only reason that charles rangel is not in prison is because he is a powerful democrat. i cannot believe that he is so stupid that he would say that he did not understand the rules and he is the head of the ways and means committee! no wonder our country is in trouble!
