In the event, it is not clear whether the US and satellite countries can match the Asian powers (Russia, China, and add juniors Iran and North Korea) in manufacturing capacity. Though they probably could if they put their minds to it and cut down on superfluous consumer spending, even if said Asians were to decide to no longer do business with the US and satellite countries.

In any case, this military business at the borderlands is immensely profitable for certain people in both Russia and in the US/satellite countries.

So no one should expect it to end any time soon.

The West really doesn't have the same kind of tolerance for major sacrifices like Russia and the East do. Nothing short of boots on the ground from the United States could change the outcome here. But then that pretty much leads us into WW3.

These were Putin's words on the matter of potential nuclear war, 'Aggressors Will Be Annihilated, We Will Go to Heaven as Martyrs'. Again, the West doesn't have the same attitude of sacrificing treasure and especially blood as a nation like Russia does.

Hard to disagree with that.

And that’s why US techno-warlords will throw a few more $65Bn morsels at the Ukrainians periodically to keep them in the game until the last drop of the latter’s blood and the last dollar of the former’s profits (most of those morsels get kicked back to the US MIC anyway).

They will save a few Ukrainians to help police and otherwise oversee the western rump that will remain.

That’s still a lot of eastward territory gained by US/NATO on the cheap over the past 35 years, while the Russians pay a steep price to defend their western border.

So who has a complaint really?

The Ukrainians won't be in the game much longer than about a couple of months. Then they will cave in because they will run out of troops. Already now, the Ukes can't cover the front completely because of manpower shortages while the Russians play cat and mouse with them. So it is either the front collapses and Russian troops stream in or Ukraine surrenders unconditionally (in either case the result will be the same). So the war will stop with the Russians deciding what to do with the Ukrainian territory, and the gravy train will stop for the US techno-warlords until they set up a new conflict somewhere else.

In the Sumy region, the evacuation of two cities was announced - Belopolye and Vorozhba.

Before that, our artillery was seriously working there. About the same as a week ago in the Volchansk area...

The decision was made on May 11 (and declared a temporary measure). In fact, the evacuation will begin tomorrow morning...

Well, as I pointed out, after Timur Ivanov was detained - men above him will be shaken.

Kyiv saying Russia still making "tactical successes" despite losses.

Quote:
Russian forces have secured "tactical success" in Ukraine's northeastern Kharkiv region after opening up a new front late last week, according to Kyiv's military, although the gains are said to have come at a significant cost.

"At present, the enemy has tactical success" close to the border city of Vovchansk, in the Kharkiv region, the General Staff of Ukraine's military said in a statement posted to social media. The situation on the ground is complex and constantly changing, and Russia has "deployed significant forces to attack the city with up to 5 battalions," Kyiv's military added.

Sorry folks, Zelensky will need another $60 billion.

Sorry folks, Zelensky will need another $60 billion.

But continually giving Ukraine 65 billion dollars is really cheap for us to destabilize Russia. Who cares about the half million Ukrainian casualties, millions of displaced Ukrainians, and billions of dollars in infrastructure damage across Ukraine...that's a small price for the US to pay to destabilize Russia.

To the last Ukrainian!

Go team, rah rah rah!
