Despite the particulars and worth of Clinton's bill in the early 90's he was supported by democrats for calling for this, now many...many democrats call for defunding the police and before someone says no they are not yes many democrats have there are countless video and reports of them doing so.
In today's DNC Clinton would have been a outsider and he WAS liberal in many ways.
If the democrats are so intent in 'defunding police' country wide...there are other ways to go about that, like rescinding laws, (that would instantly remove the authority police everywhere have)...
But have you seen ANY democrats even suggesting such a thing?
Look around in your own city, do you see police NOT enforcing laws, anymore than they did when Trump was president? Of course not.

Or they could make sure that DA's are in place that refuse to prosecute the laws already on the books.
Then be sure to get judges that make sure even if a criminal is convicted to make sure they spend as little time as possible in prison

Yeah....no. You should try following the news occasionally. Police, especially in big cities, are justifiably afraid of being fired, sued, or jailed for the smallest misstep. As such, pro-active policing is all but dead in these places. It's not going well.
proof again that the democrats have gone so far left when they call Clinton a republican lite, Clinton was liberal and democrat , I can just imagine what democrats would think of Truman today they would probably label him a right wing fascist
