Not just that relationship. Even more conflict of interest with it being reported Zucker may have advised then NY Governor Cuomo on how to respond to attacks on Cuomo by Trump on how he handled the virus in NY.
It's bad enough there have been no prosecutions yet for the nursing home deaths scandal but one has to wonder if biased coverage favoring Cuomo might have dampened the desire for one. One could say or accuse Zucker of aiding and abetting Cuomo get away or go unscathed in regards to those deaths.
Heard a Megyn Kelly show today where they said Zucker had direct influence on her promotions and compensation. She went from a low level analyst to head of their PR at whatever network (NBC?) where she was a direct report to him in one year, which was unheard of.
He had to have been fired for a lot more than having an affair that everyone knew about , time will tell
No, that's a fireable offense and we have provided a number of examples this happening to other CEO's more powerful than him but he's safe until someone rats him out to HR with proof.
Sources suggested Cuomo did it after being fired.
I forget that we have a lot of posters here that have likely never worked in a corporate setting and so are unaware of this being an instantly fireable offense.

You mean to keep his girl friend close he promoted her or 'gave' her jobs?
They obviously just 'overlooked' it until a former employee with an ax to grind brought it up. (it was done to appease Cuomo more than any corporate policy) If I understand correctly, everyone knew about it anyway.
