Real World and the Democratic Party

That was the answer.

So what was the question?

Q: Name two things with nothing in common between them.

Default Cut and paste

Not sure that the liberal leaning poster has a thought in his\her heads except maybe receipt of free things. Liberals usually deign to answer a post but deflect. Like we have here.

Does anybody believe AOC understands the Green New Deal? I don't.

Not sure that you have a clear idea of what you are asking us to discuss. As someone suggested above, how about some cliff notes.

Default Cliff Notes to Latest 2020 Democrat Platform

You guys wanted some explanations to the many goals in the New Green Deal. I think that is impossible in this forum. Ever listen to an investment manager try to sell you on a plan speak gobbly **** as a way to snow you? Same with the "DEAL." Too much to comprehend. Get it?

So I took the Democrat Platform (2020) on which President Biden ran on to give you a status report on how's he doing.

PROTECTING AMERICANS AND RECOVERING FROM THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC. Since the pandemic started there have been 771,000 deaths with 385,000 reported in 2020. Although the democrats electioned upon eradicating Covid-19, they have failed.

BUILDING A STRONGER, FAIRER ECONOMY
The democrats shut down the US economy in 2020 resulting in unemployment of 14.8%. In 2021, the unemployment rate was 8%. Inflation effecting all consumables necessary to live is allegedly at current inflation rate of 6.8%, but food staples in most widely purchased items rose 25% as well as gasoline, and petroleum products which have to be purchased outside the US. The US is no longer energy independent because of the Biden administration policies.

ACHIEVING UNIVERSAL, AFFORDABLE, QUALITY HEALTH CARE
On March 11, Congress adopted Biden’s*American Rescue Plan (ARP). By increasing premium tax credits for 2021 and 2022, ARP reduces the amount that marketplace enrollees must spend for coverage and, for the first time, makes people who earn more than 400 percent of the federal poverty level (i.e., $51,520 for an individual) eligible for marketplace subsidies. He has not reduced the US cost of prescriptions, which was an important campaign promise.

*PROTECTING COMMUNITIES AND BUILDING TRUST BY REFORMING OUR CRIMINAL JUSTICE SYSTEM
*Biden's proposed reforms are directly opposite his stands of the last 30 years. Some of these are decriminalize marijuana, eliminate mandatory minimum sentences for nonviolent crimes, end the death penalty, abolish private prisons, get rid of cash bail, and discourage the incarceration of children. Biden's silence of the widespread looting, burning and rioting as well as the non-compliance to federal law in over 500 sanctuary cities/municipalities is an indicator of his present leftist or far left stance. Lately Biden has again flipped on the “defund the police” movement. Whether he is sincere or not remains to be seen.

HEALING THE SOUL OF AMERICA I have not a clue what this means.

*COMBATING THE CLIMATE CRISIS AND PURSUING ENVIRONMENTAL JUSTICE*The US is back into the Kyoto Protocol which already is a failed initiative. Russia , India and China who are world class polluters have never been involved. Still Biden has eliminated US energy independence, canceled the Keystone pipeline, weaponized the federal government against the fossil fuels industry among other things which has hamstrung the US economy.

RESTORNG AND STRENGTHENING OUR DEMOCRACY I have not a clue what this means. Think he wants no voter ID.

*CREATING A 21ST CENTURY IMMIGRATION SYSTEM
The U.S. states along the border, from west to east, are*California, Arizona, New Mexico, and Texas. The Mexican states along the border are Baja California, Sonora, Chihuahua, Coahuila, Nuevo León, and Tamaulipas. With a decline in unlawful immigration from Mexico, the crisis predominantly concerned increased immigration from the Northern Triangle of Central America (NTCA), encompassing* Honduras, Guatemala, and El Salvador.

The US-Mexico border crisis refers to*the policies that have led to Central American migrants seeking asylum in the United States at the Mexico-United States border. Although President Biden has technically supported existing immigration laws, his secretaries and administrators have opened the US southern border by promoting an open borders policy. (that is allowing aliens to pass through border security, catch and release, and transporting aliens throughout the US, as well as by various means, suspending the border wall and placing blame on the border agents for their lawful actions). There are about 14 million illegal aliens in the US.

*PROVIDING A WORLD-CLASS EDUCATION IN EVERY ZIP CODE*It appears that Biden wishes to establish a Soviet style schooling system based upon what the Democrats and progressives are attempting to do in California and the US.; Critical Race Theory, the attempt to weaponize the USDOJ against parents in front of school boards and the admonition to “keep the parents' noses out of school business” are scary indicators. Or another way to say it, “It takes a Federal Government to raise a child.”

RENEWING AMERICAN LEADERSHIP*Or another way to title this section. “How are things so far, President Biden?” If he is responsible for that Afghanistan mess, he should be impeached Harris or no.

Congress may have been ignorant regardless, but that's not what she said!
People need and a Right to know what is in a Bill BEFORE it is passed.

.....and before it is even brought to a vote.

The People have need and a Right to know what is in a Bill BEFORE it is passed.

......and well before it is even brought to a vote.
