Does the U.S.?

Hitler was elected freely and fairly. The Germans loved him. I fail to see what guarantees we have that the same thing couldn't happen here given the right circumstances.

There are several area in AZ like this - part of the original Sun City (in Western Maricopa County, they don't pay school taxes either)

And, I have no idea what you mean by "free service" - What "free service are you saying I get?
So, no public schools assigned to a hypothetical school aged child living on your piece of property?

No fire department dispatched to your residence in the unfortunate event of a fire?

This ought to be good...

I was guessing 8%.. (total difference is $176Million, so your argument when compared to the trillions they bring in is mute) Whats the point? You cant read the chart to see how the taxes were based upon?

You think oil companies get their "fair share" of services from the government for the price that they pay? Please list the services they get to justify $160 BILLION a year in taxes... Last I checked, they get very little services from the government, meaning that any excess payment they make, benefit the tax payers because we take that money to pay for services for things like welfare, roads, schools...

heck, liberals should be screaming for more drilling because the more they drill at home, the more money that goes into the government, the more we benefit as a society by paying less taxes or more socialism programs. After all, if they arent drilling, they arent paying taxes

With no state income tax - everyone looks to property and sales taxes - the chances of raising the taxes on gaming are slim to none

Thank you very much for that tidbit. I'm sure there's a nice way to make up a story that certain portions of the municipality are exempt from those taxes because they are VIPs.

No - no particular school.

And, no taxpayer funded fire department. We have a "subscription service" - that is voluntary. You should look up "Rural Metro" fire department If there is a fire, we can call Rural Metro - they will put out the fire. If we have not subscribed to the service, they will bill us the actual cost of service. If we have subscribed, no bill

The nearest fire station (RM) is about 20 miles away
