Unfortunately liberalism is not only destroying Calif it’s destroying the rest of the country!

It’s a disease just like Covid. It spreads. The (infected) Leftists are cheering that what was once solidly red conservative states are turning purple, then blue.

I saw a picture of a billboard in a red state which read, "If you move here from a blue state, do NOT bring your politics with you"!

Yep, voting for the same corrupt incompetent socialists over and over and over again and expecting a different outcome. Same with housing policy, homelessness policy, etc etc

Einstein had a name for that.

On the other hand, if liberals start messing around with the housing market, my house starts going up in value...

What good is all that higher value when the taxes go up, the cost of living go up and everything else go up, including more fees, tolls, etc. All your gain becomes nullified.

Tru, I just find it hilarious that every time the government tries to make housing 'affordable' it becomes more unaffordable. How does someone who took a basic econ class possible think the idea that building less housing in an in-demand market will somehow bring the cost of housing down makes sense?

Exactly. I am most familiar with NYC. They are the king of building affordable housing but the city only gets more unaffordable over time. That’s because the Democrats are good at rhetoric but fails in execution because their ideas all suck. They say all the correct things to get the plebes to listen, but their “progressive” policies are plain dumb or even counter productive.

Indeed-

The only way to keep liberals out of the free states is to ban abortions and allow open carry of weapons. While I do not agree with either, if it keeps libs out, then it is a good plan.

It's a spiral of downwards doom.

More taxes for more free stuff to pay for the non-legal, free loaders, and protesters who don't want to work which drives the working class out due to COL, less money in their pockets for their families -which means MORE taxes to make up for the shortfall in free stuff for the non-legal, free loaders.....

Repeat until all you got left are the super rich limousine liberals/progressives who don't care about taxes and the lowest unskilled, free loaders and protesters.

I gotta get out.
