Interesting success has many fathers, failure is an orphan…. Biden is feeling very lonely

Biden finds few Capitol Hill allies amid Afghanistan backlash

President Biden is getting little cover from Congress as he faces broad backlash over his handling of the U.S. withdrawal in Afghanistan.

Some Democrats, including Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) and Senate Majority Leader Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.), have rallied to Biden’s side and circulated White House talking points to their members. Pelosi also urged Democrats during a conference call to stand behind Biden, according to a source familiar with the conversation.

Butt kissers whom are more for power than to do what is right for the country. Idiots unite. Not a club I'd ever be a part of. Sad that they support Americans and Afghanistans being left behind and possibly killed in Afghanistan and support open borders to allow more terrorists into our country. Scary... They, themselves are terrorists as far as I'm concerned.

Biden and his team deserve the shame and anyone who supports them in this is an idiot.

I only hope now we can get our military out of there with a minimum of losses. We're probably going to see a steady stream of refugees heading for the Kabul airport, hoping to leave. At some point we'll need to cut that off and evacuate the troops, possibly under fire. Nobody will be happy with that, but hard decisions need to be made.

I don't believe the Taliban will bother with the airport before Sept 1. Now, evacuation flights take off with just a few dozen people on board. The Taliban closes off the airport, and the US looks like a complete fool.
