The notion of police being a protected class is sickening at best. Is there any other occupation that has such protection?

Name another profession that is a target for hate, physical violence, or being told they can't go into businesses strictly because of their profession?

The democrats have balls and are willing to fight for what they believe in.. the republicans by in large are more passive and complacent, and when you are like that, you get the expected outcome... to get walked all over.

Checks and balances are supposed to protect behavior like this, but they only go so far.
