She has some great shoulders. Wish mine looked like that. LOL

That is a shame but rules are rules. I guess she should have known better than to smoke it. She must have made so many sacrifices to tone and fine tune her body/skills over the years but she couldn't give up the weed.

Would it be possible to sneak her in in place of that anti American "Athlete Activist" with the fake eyelashes that protested the anthem?

She isn’t throwing a fit or pushing for a rule change.

She accepted the ban with grace. Its a teachable moment

Definitely agree with this. SHe apologized to her fans and was very humble and held herself accountable during the GMA interview this morning.

She actually used her mother’s death to justify smoking weed.

Which is insane because she knew the rules for years before this moment.

Plenty of athletes had parents and loved ones die and didn’t need to smoke weed to cope. MJ’s father was murdered in a parking lot, he never smoked weed.

Her argument should have been that she needed the weed to win against the penises.

(I had to watch how I worded this)

It's hard to imagine why she took partook in such risky behavior right before the olympics. Is weed really that good? Lol.

It isn't banned because it is performance enhancing.

https://www.usatoday.com/story/sport...on/7839812002/

WADA puts a substance on its prohibited list if it determines that substance meets two of the following three criteria:

â–º It enhances, or could potentially enhance, an athlete's performance.

â–º It could pose a health risk for athletes.

â–º It "violates the spirit of sport."

WADA does not specify which two of those three boxes are checked by a particular substance. But in the case of marijuana, a 2011 academic paper co-authored by WADA's science director offers some explanation.

In the paper, the authors write that athletes who smoke marijuana could endanger themselves or others because of "slower reaction times and poor executive function." They write that marijuana use "is not consistent with the athlete as a role model for young people around the world."

Probably a ridiculous rule though.
