I never cared about race, but man it is in our faces every single moment of every single day. You can't get away from the separation thingy the left is doing to us.
I don't care about what skin tone someone has. Seriously the left is taking us back to 1960 or even worse!

My great Granddad was a full blooded Iroquois fur trapper/trader who lived and worked along the St. Lawrence.
I am not in the slightest offended by the: Cleveland Indians, Washington Redskins, Kansas City Chiefs, Atlanta Braves, Florida State Seminoles or ANY like named team. In every case Native North Americans were honored by these teams.
I am however offended by the hand wringing WHITE looney leftists who decided to co-opt Native Americans for their sick power grabbing woke agenda. Leave us alone.
Looking back, how STUPID was the reaction to George Floyd? Seriously everything about it was stupid. From the riots/protests, to the black squares, to the virtue signaling, anti-cop narrative, the "woke culture" blowing up, and even Trump holding up a bible for a photo op. Everything about it was stupid. The whole thing.
Nothing good came out of it. These are the "accomplishments" over the last year (and I use the term "accomplishments" very loosely):
- A syrup bottle (Aunt Jemima) getting "cancelled"
- Statues being torn down and vandalized
- "Lady Antebellum" and "The Dixie Chicks" get woke and rename themselves "Lady A" and "The Chicks."
- Police budget slashed in multiple cities resulting in the explosion of crime.
- Seattle having one of its neighborhoods turned into an "autonomous zone" and running out the Police Department.
- Portland having riots and fires on a regular basis.
- The name "Master Bedroom" and "Master Bathroom" banned by some real estate offices.
- Anti-Police narrative from the left
Also, remember those articles encouraging us to go out of our way to give money to black owned businesses? LOL. I will spend my money regardless of race, if I like the business, I will go to it. Color makes no difference to me.
I agree. Not for nothing. As a person of color. I saw the BLM movement use George Floyd death as a power grab and it worked. Yes George Floyd death was horrible, and Chauvin deserves to be punished. However George Floyd death caused dozens of other innocent deaths, billions of dollars in damages, and caused a great social racial reckoning. We also see the alliance with academia, journalism, big tech, Main stream media, social media, publishing industries which all want to change society in the name of equity, inclusion and representation. We also saw the big push for Antiracism and critical race theory which both are incompatible with the United States constitution and incompatible with Christianity, Islam, Mainline Marxism even though CRT stems from Marxism.
I'm going to say this. I understand the wokes, antiracist, critical theorist and Marxist academics. I understand you guys. I know George Floyd is your 9/11, your pearl harbor and your day of infamy. I clearly understand that. His death was tragic and wrong and I also agree that justice should be served. But all Americans should not suffer at the same time. Also countries like China and Russia want America to go through this along with January 6. I'm sure China and Russia are happy for events like George Floyd and January 6. To destroy America is to tear it down from the inside out.
BTW. I'm not white, I'm not a conservative or a republican. I'm a liberal and a person of color.
I disagree, it accomplished one major task - the election of Biden.
I called it last summer, those kids who protested in the summer are going to come out in droves to vote... and they are surely not voting for Trump. The protest was like the pre-season for the 2020 election - they bonded, they organized, they rallied each other to vote on election.
I firmly believe Biden wouldn't have won without 1) Trump mishandling the pandemic and 2) the summer protest that mobilized a generation of voters who otherwise wouldn't have voted.

The vast majority of the media (including social media) being pro Biden and pro Trump was a huge influence. Directly and indirectly. Also how the Green party candidate was almost completely ignored to make sure they did not siphon off left of center votes.

PS. Your post history seems more 1992 Democrat than 2021 Democrat. Do you feel this is accurate?
Racial issues are as American as the flag. The past was never handled properly so the issues will persists with extremes on both sides.
