I'm not so sure Cruz will be re elected. The race between him and Beto was the closest senate race in decades for Texas.

Never knew Cruz was a Lineman.

He's not a lineman but going on vacation while those he represents are freezing to death because the Texas Power Grid does not meet national standards, is not connected to the national grid is not acceptable either.

Texas's laxity allowed these tradgedy's along with causing suffering in Mexico because the Natural Gas Lines froze up again even though they were told 10 years ago that they should be insulated and updated after they froze up at that time. Maybe these statewide issues are something that the Senator should have stayed home and addressed instead of working on his tan...

I had a lot of respect for Ted Cruz until he became an ardent Trump supporter after the personal attacks Trump threw at him. I lost respect for him after that, I have to admit.

A mensch is a person of integrity. That he would kowtow to Trump after Trump insulted his wife without Trump giving a public apology shows he has no integrity or honor. When it comes to Israel, it is an example of the tail wagging the dog and Cruz is a flea on that tail.

What counts is what you do when you're in office.

Cruz has done little in terms of accomplishments, legislatively. He's in office to grandstand.

And you're right. There's no comparison.

And yet people like you still desperately cling onto that. The guy is allowed to be both a politician and a husband and father to his family. And again, he never left. For the love of God let it go.

On Election Day, Cruz defeated O'Rourke by a margin of 50.9 to 48.3 percent; the race was the closest U.S. Senate race in Texas since 1978.

And yet Cruz still won. Also, enough time has passed for the people to see how mentally deranged "Bozo" O'Rourke really is.
