Guns are FAR more likely to be used to kill a family member via suicide, domestic violence incidents, accidents, etc. than to defend a person from "violent criminals".

Lol. You confuse being paranoid with easily being able to defend oneself from criminals. The paranoid folks have been hiding out for the last year over a virus with a 99%+ survival rate. That’s no way to go through life.
Progressives are not going to like long prison sentences for illegal gun possession nor advocating for the arming of more law abiding citizens.

Damn those Dems and their continual squalling about their second Amendment Rights. If only Dems would plug that Gun Show loophole, but no. Progressives hate the idea of long prison sentences for illegal gun possession because that's just a backdoor way for the government to take firearms away from American citizens. Ten years for illegal possession of a firearm? No way sez I. Give 'em 10 days and make sure their firearm is returned promptly when they get out of jail. That's the progressive way!
And it's a crying shame the way law abiding citizens can't walk into gun stores and buy themselves a weapon or ten. But the law sez if you pass the background check, too bad for you. Wait. What?
