I'm willing to extend a hand at this time to any fellow American who favors preserving our constitutional democracy over the despotic demagoguery of a cult figure.

Paul Ryan was, at one time, a devoted, seldom-questioning follower of Ayn Rand and the Objectivist philosophy -- as was I. But like most of us, he matured and recognized that no one has all the answers.

'Big corporate boot licking scumbags that put their own interest ahead of 'the people'?" I tend to agree -- at least with regard to the first half. But bad as "the system" is, it's better than anything else yet devised. And it's "the people" who seek power via the monopoly on it granted to the state and Big Brother who scare me more than a school of spineless "Korporate" lackeys.

Can you kiddies over in Left Field ever stop obsessing on Donald Trump?

Trump's great crime (in your tearful eyes) was that he led millions of Americans of ordinary means and education, (but outside your supposed bi-Coastal elite) to unite with the Republican / libertarian mainstream and foil Darling Hillary's power-grab. And he did it by lawful, Constitutional means -- thanks to the Founding Fathers for the Electoral College.

And we can do it again -- if you get too full of yourselves, but we're not going to surrender a coalition built more on reason than tradition to a cult figure.

Oh, okay. Thanks.

Also, don't lie. You guys eviscerated Paul Ryan last time he had any power. Same with John McCain. Same with Mitt Romney. Same with Liz Cheney. You showed them no "respect."

Trumpism is here to stay, whether he's the mouthpiece for it or not. And it has cut SUBSTANTIALLY into the demographics that Democrats normally win. That's why they are fighting it so viciously.
We eviscerated them. You voted for them.

Very nice to see more respected people within the R party stand up to the orange maniac and attempt to bring the R party back to a respected conservative constitutional party.

We've clearly seen the percentage of Rs accepting reality, rationality, and democracy increasing since 1/6, and I hope to see that trend continue.
Paul Ryan never liked trump from the get go.

That's what Communist do. They scream "Fascism" about everyone who opposes them, or "Evil Capitalist". It was before 1952, it was with the spread of Communism into Spain in 1936. That's what ANTIFA is. What's funny is, they even call Democrats Fascist, but Democrats, in places like Portland and Seattle, coddle them as if they can control them as allies

Thats' true.

Ryan was very reluctant to support Trump until Trump agreed to the establishment Republican plan to give massive tax cuts to the rich. It wasn't hard to sell him on it though, all Ryan had to do was show Trump how much money he would garner for himself and Trump was sold. Then of course Trump wanted to brag about it to his $200,000.00 members at Mar-A-Lago.

"You all just got a lot richer,"

He didn't say that to his rank and file supporters though ...
