So where are all these people lining up to work in steel mills? And what about the ones interested in building and managing new steel mills? The opportunity is there for anyone who wants it. Yet, nothing but whining and excuse making from today's corporate culture elites who are too good to involve themselves with such honest and necessary work. Our colleges are turning out plenty of people with business degrees. Why aren't they starting steel making businesses? They would much prefer our dirty jobs done elsewhere.

This stuff doesn't happen all on it's own. Someone probably should figure this stuff out. If it's not happening, than of course China is going to own your backside for the next century. Countries that don't produce and rely on debt as a way of life are virtual slaves.

Selling in the United States is a privilege to be earned.

If the economic interests of ordinary US workers and the security interests of the United States are not improved, no access to US markets should be allowed.

Foreign countries would simply respond by disallowing imports from the U.S. to protect the economic interests of their workers and their security interests. Selling in their countries would also be deemed by them to be a privilege to be earned.

However, cutting yourself off from the global market is your choice to make.
