We definitely know he won’t be indicted, but if you can find a betting site that has a line on what you believe, please post it as I and I’m sure many others would like to bet heavily that he’ll never be indicted or sniff prison time.

The fact is the investigations into Trump and his activities are based upon testimony already given while Trump was still president. No one actually knows whether he will be indicted nor does anyone know whether he will be convicted on anything. Trump is entitled to defend himself in court if it comes to that, but Trump is the prime mover in all of this.
It's not like someone dropping a glove in a garden or slipping drugs in an unsuspecting pocket. Trump and his own activities and the documents he generated on his own in the past are the prime mover in these cases. This stuff isn't invented by outsiders, it comes from Trump himself.

It's not the frequently trotted out phantasmagorical "left" that may indict Trump, it's the US Attorney's office for the Southern District of New York. As far as why this is taking a long time, that is as expected for such a wide ranging investigation and scope of potential charges. The Giuliani raid no doubt generated a lot of new evidence and it will take a while for them to sort it.
This is very similar to the investigations into organized crime and the Mafia. Decades of work went into those racketeering indictments, and racketeer Trump isn't any different - in fact it's likely a lot more difficult as prosecutors want to be certain they have ALL the potential crimes under consideration before bringing charges.
As far as Trump actually doing time, if they bring the charges before his death, that's very unlikely - so we are in agreement about that. In the USA if you have enough wealth you can kick the appeals can down the road for a long time. Trump still has plenty of wealth and knows how to manipulate our court system, he has been doing that his whole life.
Cyrus Vance is retiring the end the year, so Donald Trump will be indicted by the end of the year.
