Two teachers in charge of the support circles also sent an email explaining the meeting was about teaching White students how to be an ally. "It was not to provide a space to process because the institutions that are controlled and designed by white people are the ones causing harm," they wrote.
Maybe the white students don't want to ally themselves with people who are blaming them for causing harm. Just a thought.
No bigger threat to a child than the public school system.
Becoming more true every day. But sad thing is even if we home school, private school or online school our own kids, we still get taxes to hilt to pay for these "public" indoctrination centers.
This is the Piedmont Unified School District in the upscale part of Oakland. How embarrassing for these rich liberals to have people think they aren't properly woke and might have been concerned about their white students' well being.
Well......... This district is literally right in the middle of Oakland, as in surrounded by it. If they want to prove their true wokism I’d like to recommend they petition to merge the Piedmont School System with the Oakland Unified School District. I mean Piedmont has less than 2,600 students, they’ll hardly be noticeable among Oakland’s 36,500.

Not sure how Piedmont’s teachers with their average $100,299 salary will feel being put in a system with an average teacher pay of $69,577. That difference in pay is not surprising given that Oakland spends $15,438 per pupil with a student/teacher ratio of 19:1 and Piedmont spends $17,987 with a ratio of 18:1.
Christ.... talk about proof of true systematic racism. California should not allow this to occur, both of these systems are managed under the Alameda County Office of Education.

First off they are sophist. They have a conclusion and all data that they collect points to that conclusion. Second, all of their arguments are fallacious and manipulative. Third, one of the biggest strategies they have is counter-storytelling which can easily be dismissed as a fable or a story that isn’t even their own, at best. Most of the time they’re purposefully vague to try and garner as much sympathy as possible. Fourth, they give undue power to the “lived experience.” Challenge their “lived experience” by asking them how their “lived experience” is under duress like when you have a panic attack. If you are to believe every person because of lived experience the person having their first panic attack will summarily die because they will think they’re having a heart attack. I use a panic attack because it’s based off of anxiety and Wokeism training is essentially the opposite of cognitive behavioral therapy. IOWs, its goal is to induce panic and a negative attitude towards everything in existence, an unhealthy way of thinking. We used to call this nihilism. Nihilism mixed in with revenge in mind IS Wokestan.
No doubt there are many excellent students within its boundaries, but given this incident, it seems ridiculous to describe the institution itself as a "top school district". It's just another woke joke.
I would imagine they are highly stratified by race, and that the district considers this a problem which must be rectified through various woke means.
