First I've heard of this. They are saying this won't be a State of the Union, but I wonder if that's just a technicality for some reason.

LOL. Ah yes the usual dementia nonsense. Then he shows up for the debate speech etc...and crickets.

But no worry in another week they will start saying it again. Maybe THIS time it will be true.

Pelosi invited him for some pat on the shoulder publicity. I won't watch it. Any clips of Biden gaffes will be available later on youtube.

I guess so, from your link:

"President Biden on Tuesday night accepted House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's invitation to address a joint session of Congress on April 28. The address is not an official State of the Union because a president's first speech before Congress is not considered a State of the Union."

I suppose that each new President, having been in office but 100 days, in not really able to provide a fair 'state of the union' in so short a time. I seem to recall that it was the same with Mr. Trump's first address to Congress.

If you want to watch a good "clown" show, with someone reading colorful 2nd grade cue cards and staring blankly into space, watch Biden tonight!
