All the major church's have adapted by having services online, even evangelical ones.
It is only a few of the extreme politically charged churches that have been flouting the health regulations.
Right now in Canada we have many variants. They spread easier, and are more deadly. They are also affecting people under 40, and not like the other variants, these ones are putting young people in hospital.

My family was subject to Nazi rule during WW2. They were kidnapped, raped, tortured and sent to prison camps, forced labour camps and even killed. This man has the nerve to call police enforcing a public health order during a world wide pandemic as Gestapo and Nazis.
I assume he is ready to pay for the fallout if his church is the epicenter of a super spreader event, including medical costs, contact tracing, and free funerals?
I am of the "there has been a major overreaction" camp, but I think he did not sound very Christian, and I also think that him calling them Nazis and Gestapo was WAY over the top.
(I do agree with his basic sentiment, however.)
And, also, I truly wonder how the LEOs just left without pursuing the matter. Wonder how many U.S. cops would have reacted that way?

And, imo, the fact that the LEOs backed off showed that they were not Gestapo "warriors" using their uniforms as proof of their actions being sanctioned by the government and as having been given permission to get tough and become possibly violent.

Meanwhile, I'm glad my rabbi has the moral fortitude to keep our synagogue closed for the 2nd Passover in a row in the midst of a plague. This pastor seems like a weak leader and makes his church look like cowardly snowflakes.
