We've had over 20 million known cases of the coronavirus in the U.S...and the vaccine is here...and a new strain that spreads more quickly than we're used to. We've got very little time before any attempt to slow the spread will do anything at all.

Now is the time to shut down every school. If the hospitals are going to flood, it will come very soon.

Now is the time when we determine whether or not all the past year's efforts will serve some kind of purpose...or merely be a failure and lesson for the future about how, next time, we need to be more organized and prepared.
