Explain in a rational fashion why the biggest States population wise have counted 99.999999999% of their ballots, but smaller states are into day 10 counting votes.

A blind man can see what's going on.

Explain how you gathered data about such things as the number of counters each respective state hired and how many hours a day they were working? Or did you just throw some numbers out there?

Ah, I see a little levity in an otherwise serious situation. Thank you for that.

Well, BentBow, it's good that you asked. This is, as they say, a "teachable moment".

It takes very little time to count the votes that are cast by machine on election day. So that's why in typical years, we know by the time we go to bed on Election Day who won. That's quick.

When you have SO MUCH MAIL IN voting that you have to count, that takes a long time, and then there are "problem ballots" that are the last 1%. Verifying ballots that were initially kicked out, or were cast provisionally.

The thing is, in past years we haven't lurked around to watch the last 1% counted, which takes awhile, because no one care much. Everyone acknowledged the outcome, even if a few hundred ballots remained to be tallied.

But this year, Trump voter aren't doing what is typically done, which is to acknowledge defeat. They're standing around waiting for the last 1%, as if that would change anything at all with the outcome.

Once computers are involved, all bets are off. It's a spreadsheet. Point and click. Who certified Dominion Software? Why did Texas reject them? I fed my ballot into the scanner and after a short pause, a light let up and saying it was read. Even then I wondered where did it go? How do you know some operative isn't monkeying with the count?

In addition there are issues as to when the votes can be counted.

In some states mail in ballots can be counted as they come in. In others they can not be counted till after election day or after other types of ballots have been counted.

Then there is ballot curing where some states give you get the chance to fix errors on your ballot by a certain date.

And finally recounts which can be automatic(if the winner does not win by enough) or requested by candidate, or court ordered.

For IL

Early voting can be counted but not posted Before Election day.

Mail in ballots can be prepared to count but can not be counted till 7p.m. on Election day

In Person election day ballots are counted throughout the day on election day.

Mail in ballots with a Nov 3. post date could be counted as late as Nov. 17.

Mail in ballots can be cured up to 14 days past the election and the state must notify you of the rejection in 2 days

So technically IL isn't done yet with the counting.
A ballot is a ballot. No differences.

Someone left this anonymous reply to my post as a reputation comment (thanks for the free rep, BTW!):

Nope. We have the senate. Biden will be handcuffed.

To which I'll reply:

Typical Trumpist response, counting your chickens before they hatch. We won't know who has the Senate until after the runoffs in Georgia in January.

Because they are the problem ballots. They have to make sure they are legitimate votes.

It's going to be an even longer time for America if the far Left is allowed to implement their schemes.

I wonder what is going to happen when America is slowly destroyed by lousy Democrat policies? Today we have seen people fleeing the problems of California and bringing their politics to Arizona, New Mexico, Nevada and Texas where thee once again vote for candidates that pledge just what they ran from? it boggles the mind.

When America is crushed by the Democrat feel good schemes will the people that can afford it move to Canada?

The election was so sketchy in the swing states and there is no doubt that cheating was done.

Oh, so now votes from nursing home residents don't count? A lot of people in nursing homes are of sound mind... If you want to limit to IQs above 110 or something, Trump and who knows who else wouldn't be able to vote.
