I don’t think it is even though it is “popular” in all states—some a lot more than others—
But the media seems to keep using it when they talk about Trump’s popular/political appeal to Americans (and even foreigners)...

Anyone who can really explain how Trumpism equates to popularism based on the RESULTS of Trump’s policies, please elucidate...

I can't read your article because I refuse to pay money for the NYT but of course Trumpism is populism. People were sick fo the global world order when the handful of politicians told us what to do and then got rich doing it. People woke up to the fact that Democrats aren't for the working class. And yes, there are Republicans like this, too.

In a way it is populism but it isn't Williams Jennings Bryan populism. It is mostly second wave Tea Party BS. I hope it goes away.

Not really, because true populism is left wing, and tRump has been one of the most right wing presidents ever

Trump is a Manhattan Business Democrat. If you head over to 1998 and look at the Demcrats political stances. Trump is the same .

Democrats of the 90s would be considered "right winged" in todays standards.

tRump has changed between being a Republican, a Democrat and an Independent several times in his life. At this moment though, he's being "super" Republican

Trumpism could also be called AlexJonesism The way these guys/girls spit out Conspiracy Theories.

I love the hypocrisy of Trumpsters you mention QAaon, New world order, Sex Trafficking they are on Board,

But you mention Racism, Police brutality equally rights, all Fake News
