This is 100% true, the rules are in place for a reason and should be followed.
P.S. It is also true that after that 2000 election we had to hear for 8 years how the Republicans cheated and stole elections with such things as Diebold voting machines.

The 2004 elections were wrapped up pretty fast, and Kerry conceded the same day, although there were many States yet to be called. In the end the results were pretty close, but Kerry knew it was over when FL and OH were out of reach.
