Biden is gonna win the presidential election so that argument is mute. The real battle is who will control the senate. Looks like both of GA senate races are headed for runoff elections. This will likely determine which party controls the senate. It should be a battle royal for the next month and a half in the peach state.

I can't imagine the kind of money and pressure thats going to occur. The advertising alone is going to be nonstop for that poor state.

Perdue and Ossoff ads have been awful, all mudslinging.

I don’t think the Democrats will get the urban turnout in the January runoffs that they need. Rural folks will all come out for Perdue and Loeffler.

Well now theyre going to turn it to 111.

I feel for all those who live in that state. The amount of ad money is just....going to be mind boggling. Ugh. I dont know the candidates well, do you?

Good for the economy I guess. I can turn off my TV.

This - I expect the Republicans will have an advantage in the runoff. Trump won't be on the ballot, so you won't have the Dems showing up to vote like they did this week. Plus, if Trump loses, the Republicans will have a bigger incentive to vote and keep the Dems from controlling everything. I truly hope Perdue and Loeffler can keep their seats.

Well, the urban vote came out for the Wisconsin primary in April for an upset victory for Jill Karofsky during the pandemic, defying the odds. It was a race that wasn't directly about Trump. They weren't out in the long lines to ensure Biden over Bernie Sanders either.

I guess if Stacey Abrams and prominent voices in GA, as well as Joe and Kamala Harris, push hard on the message for GA Democrats to get out to vote, it's possible that there will be good urban turnout.

I suspect it will be a high turnout due to what is at stake.
