The market soared much higher the day after Trump was elected. The current market is soaring because a divided government where nothing gets done is great for business and the markets.

Is 1.4% (day after 2016 election) "much higher" than 1.6% (today), not to mention there were good gains yesterday too (NASDAQ up 3%).

It is what is it.......markets like gridlocks.

The stock market is rising because the House and Senate will likely be divided - which means there will be gridlock.

Gridlock makes for a stable investment environment in the business world.

Lol...these are the same people that tried to claim there was no bounce from Trump by only counting the stock market increase from when he actually took office.

Now? Oh now they want to count from another starting point.

Classic moving the goalposts, one of the cleanest examples I've seen.

Yeah. When market is up, it is Biden, down it is on Trump or the Republican.

Says all pessimists as markets roar higher and asset prices explode. Don't fight unlimited QE. The central banks control the bond market now. All flood gates remain perpetually opened.

Stock market exploded under Trump. No regulations and massive tax breaks. While the market is up a little today, I'm more concerned with our green energy future. We are laughably (tragically?) behind the rest of the world, thanks to Republicans.
