Fox called Arizona for Biden last night, while more liberal news sites such as CNN have held off. Fox has long been a right skewed media outlet Trump loves and the Trump campaign believes Arizona is still in play.
Why do people care what these news networks "call"? I don't get it.
Well I know the Trump campaign was upset about it because they believe that the outstanding votes will favor Trump. And Fox has been a bit of a platform for Trump so I can see why he would be particularly upset that they did not wait longer to see how those voted panned out.

Yes, but a news network saying they think a race is won or lost after voting is closed is meaningless. It impacts nothing.

I disagree. A lot of people tune into these networks and do take what they say as gospel. That goes for all the networks CNN Fox MSNBC etc. Of course you’re right that it does not actually mean squat until the vote is certified but many people do not think at that level and it’s considered bad optics if they’re wrong.

If they did it while the vote was ongoing, then it could discourage some from voting.
My whole problem with this mess is that we are advanced enough to count this and be done within a day. If you lose fair and square - then fine. This nonsense is ripe for foul play.

What are you disagreeing with? The only impact (which isn't real), is "optics"...The anger of the Trump camp makes no sense.
