They can't because there are not many Republicans in the entrenched federal bureaucracy and they don't control the House.
Besides, we can see how people like AG Barr are. AG Barr is of the old school, which says you don't go after the previous administration because it is bad for the country. That the Democrats don't care about such traditions is irrelevant. AG Barr will stick to his principles and precedent.
He COULD have prosecuted Comey and Deputy Director McCabe for crimes. They were referred for prosecution. He could have also indicted Clapper for lying a Congress (which we all know by now is a federal crime). He could have gone after Hillary Clinton for erasing and destroying hard drives and phones. He could have gone after Huma Abadin for having classified information on her laptop illegally and more.
But he didn't.
BUT, if I was Trump I'd see a Special Counsel appointed to investigate Hunter Biden's China dealings and Ukrainian dealings and make Biden fire him. Think the U.S. news media would make a peep over it?

That would be a GREAT idea. Please do. Maybe form the Trump party, or the MAGA party, or some other name you all agree on. Separate yourself from the very widely respected and respectable Republican party that I typically vote in presidential elections for.
If you're thinking you need to "blackmail" other citizens (which is a crime, BTW) everyone would like for you to separate yourselves off, and the Republicans and Democrats, and hopefully a new party of Centrists, can move forward.

This loss is the first step of kicking rinos (like liberal trump and his followers) to the curb and bringing conservative values back to the republican party.

I disagree with the first part-trying to "blackmail" anyone is as low as anything the Dems did. We do need to purge all the cowards in the party, and ensure no "never Trumper" idiot or RINO ever has a seat at the table again.
Now, I'm OK with getting started on the impeachment documentation so it's ready to roll on JA 21. And to spy on Biden's cabinet and monitoring their phone calls before they take office. And of course packing the NSA, CIA and FBI with anti-Biden leadership.

Stay the high road, time and time again when we engage in debate our reasoning shines through mostly why do you think Yahoo ended the comments section right before the election?, because of that. Every time they posted a slanted left article the comments section destroyed their propaganda.
