Why do I say this?
To my knowledge Biden has not visited this state once, because dems think the state is "in the bag for dems", so no need for Biden to campaign here.

I am seeing a tremendous amount of people holding Trump rallies, which never happened in the last election cycle.

Californians are coming out in large numbers in support of Trump, and that did not happen before the last election in 2016
It would not surprise me if Trump wins in California.
Ordinary people are taking to the streets in support of Trump.
All this is new to this area, and it tells me many are going to be voting for Trump this election, that failed to do so in 2016.
Well, chinchillas could sprout wings and start flying too. But... I do hope you are right. That would be about the biggest kick in the crotch for the left that I could possibly imagine.

This is the worst prediction in the history of mankind.

Trump might or might not win the general election, but he's not winning California anymore than Biden is winning Louisiana.

That doesn't mean I don't speculate on occasion.
In this thread, I am speculating based on what I see going on through out the state of California with regard to support for Trump, which was not there in 2016.
This support could turn into an absolute upset come election night.
I am not saying it will, but due to this support I am seeing for the last three months, I feel Trump may well win California.

Dems usually vote early, and repubs vote in person on election day.
Time will tell if the support I am seeing state wide, will turn into votes.
I feel it will.

Let's hope you are right. I had a couple move in next door to me 6 years ago. They are from CA and they complain about CA so much. They had to move to get out of the mess. They are big Trump supporters.

Trump won't win Cal or NY but he might do better than in 2916. I don't think a Trump victory will be shocker. However, winning the popular vote would be.

Fox News doesn't get to redefine a term that we have been conditioned to fear since the fifties. Fox promotes the notion that any progressive accomplishments at all are Socialist. I can hardly believe that if Americans are given the right to take two weeks a year by law is Socialist.

The new definition of Socialism is the only way that Trump wins, that is if his minions at Fox and other "conservative" web sights convince you that two weeks of vacation by law is a serious threat to conservative values.

The Hollywood left and the talk show crowd give this impression that this defines the new modern left. They do it to themselves. The rioting and lockdowns are only icing on the cake. They nominated Biden and they had him pick a California radical as his VP. Their overconfidence and lack of better planning may cost them again. They can't get out of their own way with their emotional meltdowns they tend to have. Flip a coin on this one!

If Cali does what you say, it will be the biggest poll screwup since Dewey defeated Truman.

Can't quite see it. California has far too many people who think government is there to take care of them from cradle to grave.

We might see some surprises, but Cali ain't it.

I have to agree with you. The biggest challenge in getting Republicans (post-Reagan) to vote in CA is they generally know their vote is not going to count, so a large number of them just don't vote. But even if ALL of the registered Republicans voted, I cannot see CA flipping.

Maybe the gap narrows to 20 points or less, but flipping? I would be surprised, as the nanny-state is strong there.

With illegals no longer voting, CA may very well go for Trump. The DEMS never won it fair and square in the first place.
